Present Coalition Government to Last Full Term, Asserts NC President Deuba.


Dhangadhi: Nepali Congress (NC) president Sher Bahadur Deuba has affirmed that the current NC-UML coalition government is set to complete its full term, projecting its stability until 2084 BS. Speaking briefly to journalists at Dhangadhi airport, Deuba, who is also a former prime minister, emphasized the absence of any disputes within the coalition, reinforcing its longevity.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Deuba addressed inquiries concerning the cooperatives fund misappropriation scam, stating, “We never made a hue and cry when cases were filed against our friends in the past; this is under court process.” His comments suggest a commitment to allowing legal processes to unfold without political interference.

Deuba’s visit to Dhangadhi is part of his itinerary to participate in several programs in his home district of Dadeldhura. The NC Sudurpaschim province working committee spokesperson, Surat Rawat, outlined that Deuba will engage in the NC District Working Committee meeting, local level meetin
gs, attend a religious fair at Ugratara, and participate in a program at Ganyapdhura rural municipality in Dadeldhura.
