Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has appealed for precaution against the risk of floods and landslide, and inundation caused by the incessant rainfall in the country. In a statement he issued today, the Head of State also urged everyone to face with restraint the challenges during the disaster. President Paudel also appealed to all state agencies to promptly engage in rescue and relief during this time of crisis.
According to National News Agency Nepal, President Paudel’s appeal comes amidst concerns over the impact of continuous rainfall, which has heightened the risk of natural disasters such as floods and landslides. The President emphasized the importance of caution to minimize potential damages and ensure public safety.
In his statement, President Paudel called on citizens to stay vigilant and cooperate with authorities in managing the situation effectively. He also highlighted the role of state agencies in providing timely assistance and support to those affected, urging them to be proactive in their response efforts.
