Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has emphasized the need for strong collaboration between the government and political parties to foster the socioeconomic and cultural development of Nepal. He highlighted this point during a function commemorating the 110th birth anniversary of leader Ganesh Man Singh. President Paudel argued that intensified development efforts and good governance are essential for building public trust in both the government and political parties.
According to National News Agency Nepal, President Paudel underscored the eternal value of freedom in human life, stating that it is a cornerstone of democracy. He noted that this principle was a guiding force in the establishment of Nepal’s federal democratic republic. He praised the late Ganesh Man Singh as a bold, hardworking, and farsighted leader, recognizing BP Koirala’s perspective on Singh’s contributions.
President Paudel recalled that BP Koirala, a close associate of Ganesh Man Singh in the democratic struggle, often remarked on
how Singh’s predictions were realized in the political developments of Nepal. He urged everyone to remember Singh’s significant role in the country’s democratic movements and achievements, emphasizing that Ganesh Man Singh never compromised on democratic values in both ideal and practice.
On a separate note, President Paudel called on political parties and others to effectively implement government policies and programs to ensure justice for poor and marginalized communities. He stressed the importance of assuring the youth that they can realize their dreams within Nepal.
