Price of Fuel Down by One Rupee.


Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by one rupee per litre with effect from midnight today. With this adjustment, the cost of diesel will be 147 rupees 50 paisa per litre for category A, 149 rupees for category B, and 150 rupees per litre for category C depots.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the NOC classifies Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birganj depots as category A, Surkhet and Dang as category B, and Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal depots as category C. The price adjustment follows a decrease in the purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation today, which saw a reduction of 0.25 rupees per litre in petrol and 1.04 rupees per litre in diesel.
