Kathmandu: The vehicular movement in different districts has been obstructed due to rain-induced disasters, while the administration has suspended traffic during nighttime in some road sections.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the roads in Kavre, Sindhupalchowk, Rasuwa, Rukum Paschim, Lamjung, Ilam, Nuwakot, and Makawanpur have been impacted by the rain-induced disasters.
The Mechi Highway in Ilam Municipality-9 was fully obstructed following a mudslide at Rajduwali, prompting travelers to opt for alternative routes in the affected section.
Similarly, the Araniko Highway is fully blocked due to landslides at the Kodari and Liping areas.
Additionally, the Pasang Lhyamu road section and Trishuli-Mailung-Syaphrubensi road section have also been obstructed due to landslides.
The Nepal Police stated that the Jajarkot-Dolpa road section is completely obstructed following a landslide at Rijegard in Aathbiskot Municipality-6, Rukum Paschim district.
The Bensisahar-Manag road is completely blocked after a landslide at Rambazaar in Marsyangdhi Rural Municipality-4, Lamjung.
