Benighat:The road section from Benighat to Tatopani, part of the Benighat-Arughat-Larke Bhanjyang road, has been successfully reopened. This section had been blocked due to flooding from the Budhigandaki River.
According to National News Agency RSS, Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal stated that after constructing a temporary diversion at Khorlabesi, efforts were focused on clearing the road in Tatopani and its surrounding areas. The clearing process involved the removal of stones, soil, and debris left by the flood.
Minister Lamsal also mentioned that the next step would involve moving forward with permanent road construction. This will begin with conducting necessary studies and alignment planning for upgrading the road.
