Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Gandaki Province Chief Basudev Poudel is to be honoured with the ‘Rishi Leela Journalism Award-2081’.
The decision was taken to present the award to Poudel appreciating his contribution in the sector of senior citizens through the medium of journalism, said Chairperson of Pokhara Old Age Home. The award was instituted by Pokhara Old Age Home, Kusum Keshav Parajuli.
The award would be conferred on journalist Poudel admist a function on October 1, the International Day for Older Persons. The award carries a purse of Rs 50,000 and a letter of felicitation.
