Senior Cardiologist and Artiste Honored at Nepal Police Wives Association Anniversary


Kathmandu: The Nepal Police Wives Association commemorated its 41st anniversary with a series of programs, during which senior cardiologist Dr. Om Murti Anil and senior artiste Haribansa Acharya were among those honored. The event took place on Wednesday, highlighting the Association’s continued dedication to social work and humanitarian efforts.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Inspector General of Nepal Police Dipak Thapa presented honors to Dr. Anil, Acharya, as well as social worker Uttam Pudasaini and Ram Bahadur Neupane. In his address, Chief of Nepal Police Thapa emphasized the Association’s commitment to social work and humanity, despite its limited resources. He encouraged the Association to persist in its mission of selfless service and to continuously engage in humanitarian and philanthropic endeavors.

Rupa Thapa, the Association’s Chair, along with other speakers, also shared their perspectives at the event, reinforcing the importance of the Association’s work and its impact on society.
