Seven New Polling Stations Established in Bajura for Upcoming Election


Bajura: Seven polling stations have been added in Bajura for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5. This addition brings the total number of polling centres to 77 and polling stations to 112.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the new polling stations have been established in Budhinanda Municipality, Himali, Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality in Province Assembly ‘ka’, and Triveni Municipality in Province Assembly Constituency ‘ka’. Bhim Bahadur Shahi, the Election Officer of the District Election Office, announced that Bhagwati Basic School Rudhi, Mandali Secondary School Kholikot, and Ward No. 3 Jukot in Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality-1 have been divided to accommodate a new polling station at Shambhushunanda Secondary School Juku.



Additionally, new polling stations have been designated at Madanashrit Basic School Baddala in Budhinanda Municipality-3, Sunanda Basic School Bam in Himali Rural Municipality-1, Kulamastajan Basic School Kyuri in Ward No. 5, and Kholikot Basic School in Ward No. 6. The number of registered voters in Bajura, which comprises four rural municipalities and five municipalities, has reached 86,557, including 1,516 new voters.
