Ophthalmologist Dr Sanduk Ruit has been honoured with this year’s ‘Sripati Samajsewa National Award’.
This was announced by Shripati Koirala Guthi of Mahendrapul in Pokhara Metropolitan City-9. The award will be presented to Ruit on the occasion of the 217th Shripati Jayanti. The award also carries a purse of Rs.222,222, along with Sripati Samajsewa Medal and a copper plaque.
The award is named after Shripati Koirala of Pokhara, who was a high-ranking government employee and social worker. He died in 1926 BS in the course of his government job.
