Kathmandu: Six parliamentary committees are convening today for a series of meetings focused on various critical national issues.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the parliament secretariat announced that the committees on law, justice and human rights, agriculture, cooperatives and natural resources, women and social affairs, education, health and IT, and development, economic affairs and good governance are scheduled to meet at 11:00 am. These meetings are set to address a range of topics pivotal to national development and policy enforcement.
Additionally, the monitoring and evaluation committee on the enforcement of State directive principles and policy is set to meet at 11:30 am. The education committee is slated to engage with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to discuss preparations for the 10th National Games. Meanwhile, the development committee plans to hold discussions with NGOs and civil society stakeholders concerning Nepal’s transition from a Least Developed Country (LDC) to a developing nation.
