Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has dismissed the writ petition filed by Mukul Dhakal, demanding that he be allowed to continue as the General Secretary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RISP).

According to National News Agency Nepal, a division bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Sunil Kumar Pokharel handed down the order to dismiss the writ petition. Supreme Court spokesperson Achyut Kuinkel confirmed the decision.
