TCB to Sale Commodities Through Truck in 8 Divisional Cities

Dhaka: The Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs (ACCEA) today approved in principle a proposal to start selling commodities among common consumers through trucks in eight divisional cities across the country. The approval came from the 6th meeting of the ACCEA this year, held at the Cabinet Division conference room at Bangladesh Secretariat in the city.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Adviser to the interim government on the ministries of Education and Planning, Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud, chaired the meeting. The initiative aims to provide essential goods to consumers in a more direct and accessible manner, potentially easing the burden on lower-income families by offering commodities at competitive prices. The plan is expected to be implemented shortly, with logistics and distribution details to follow.
