Kathmandu: The Thai Embassy in Nepal is set to host the ‘Journey to Thailand and Top Thai Brands 2025’ from August 29 to 31. This event is organized in collaboration with the Thai Trade Centre in New Delhi, India, and will take place at The Plaza in Lalitpur. Thai Ambassador to Nepal Suwapong Sirisorn is scheduled to inaugurate the program on August 29.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Thai Ambassador Sirisorn announced at a press meet that the event will be open to the general public with free entry. It will feature a range of activities and Thai cultural programs, including a free handicraft workshop and traditional Thai massage. Additionally, stalls will showcase a variety of Thai cuisines and products. Participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives from notable Thai businesses, hospitals, and universities.
One of the highlights of the three-day event is a series of giveaways, offering participants the chance to win round-trip flight tickets to Thailand. The event aims to further strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Nepal, fostering friendship at a people-to-people level, as stated by the organizers.
