Sirajganj: Three members of a family were tragically killed when a bus collided with a passenger-loaded auto-van in the district on Friday. The victims were identified as Shafiqul Islam, 38, his wife Sumana, 20, and Shafiqul’s younger sister Lucky, 25. All were residents of Baitara village in Sirajganj Sadar upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident occurred on Friday evening in the Mulibari area. Masud Rana, a cousin of the deceased Shafiqul Islam, confirmed the tragic event, stating that the bus rammed into the auto-van, resulting in the immediate death of the three family members.
