Sirajganj: Three school students have reportedly gone missing while bathing in the Fuljhore River under Kamarkhand upazila of Sirajganj. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon around 3 pm in the Jhatibelai area. Five ninth-grade students from Collectorate School and College in Sirajganj had gone to visit their friend Zarif’s house and decided to bathe in the Fuljhore River. Unfortunately, while three of the students managed to swim to safety, three others-identified as Rafin, Krishna, and Sarjid-were swept away by the deep river water and have gone missing.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, local police and fire service personnel launched a rescue operation immediately after the incident. The search efforts intensified with the involvement of the Rajshahi diving team, which joined the ongoing operation to locate the missing students. The community and authorities are on high alert as the search continues in hopes of finding the students.
