Tibet Tremor Felt in Kathmandu


Kathmandu: The tremor of the earthquake that occurred at Dinggye County of Tibet Autonomous Region in China this afternoon has been felt in Nepal as well.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the earthquake hit the County with its epicenter there itself at around 2:35 pm. The quake measured a magnitude of 5.9. Earlier in January, a magnitude-7 quake had been recorded with the same epicenter.



Meanwhile, a fresh tremor was recorded in Baglung district this morning. The magnitude-4.1 quake had its epicenter at Khukhani in the district, occurring at 6:20 am. Another quake of similar magnitude was recorded at Mudi in Myagdi district today at 3:14 am, according to NEMRC.
