Kathmandu: The Tourist Visa Section of the Department of Immigration will continue its operations during the Dashain holidays.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Department has issued a press release confirming that the Tourist Visa Section, along with the agency branch of the Department, will be open daily from 11 am to 1 pm, except on the day of Bijaya Dashami, which falls on October 2. This decision ensures that visa services remain accessible to foreign tourists during the festive period.
In addition, the Nepal Tourism Board is taking measures to support foreign visitors by maintaining its services throughout the Dashain festival. It has announced the establishment of a dedicated cell to assist tourists during the holidays, with specific staff assigned to this task.
