Twenty Nepali Students Return Home from KIIT via Kakarbhitta Border


Kakarbhitta: Twenty Nepalis studying at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, have successfully returned home via the Kakarbhitta border point. This marks a significant return of students to Nepal since February 18.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Bijay Chauhan, an officiating spokesperson at the District Police Office, Jhapa, confirmed that the number of Nepali students returning from KIIT through the border has reached 20. These students are entering Nepal on a daily basis.



Among those returning are Sulabh Paudel and Ayush Adhikari from Pokhara-8; Samip Paudel from Kathmandu-10; Akash Shah from Mahalaxmi, Lalitpur; Puyush Shah from Kathmandu-13; and Bikesh Shrestha from Gokarneshwor-7, Kathmandu.



Additionally, Arati Rohi, Salimi Das, Rishak Singh, Ayush Raj, Prajit Yadav, Rakesh Sah, Chris Das, and Nawin Mandal from Rajbiraj-2, Saptari, have also made their way back home.



Others who have crossed the border include Om Prasad Podar from Inaruwa-1; Aditya Mishra from Biratnagar-12; Keshav Gohibar from Bhardaha-2, Saptari; Shuvam KC from Ichambhu-1, Kathmandu; Rishav Jha from Makwanpur-2; and Arushi Singh from Jaleshwor-12, Mahottari.
