Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Suvullya and Dewhata areas on the Dhaka-Tangail highway here this morning.
“After receiving information, police recovered the bodies”, said Anisuzzaman, sub-inspector of Gorai Highway Police Station.
Police said a 65-year unidentified man died on the spot when a bus crushed him in Shuvullya area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway around 9am.
In another accident, Sonamuddin, 70, was killed after being hit by a bus while he was crossing the road at Dewhata on the Dhaka-Tangail highway around 10.45am.
