Lalitpur: CPN (UML)’s 10th central committee meeting is taking place today at 11:00 am in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, as informed by UML publicity department chief Rajendra Gautam. The meeting is set to be a platform for discussing significant party matters and future plans.
According to National News Agency Nepal, party chair KP Sharma Oli will present a political report at the meeting. The report will address current political developments and set the stage for discussions among the central members. Each interested member will have three minutes to share their opinions on President Oli’s report, allowing for a broad range of perspectives to be heard.
The meeting is also expected to finalize the time and place for the party’s general convention, scheduled for the upcoming Mangsir. This follows a decision made during the secretariat meeting held from October 10-12, which proposed holding the general convention in the second week of December.
