UML Central Committee Meeting Postponed Due to Inadequate Preparation

Lalitpur: The 10th central committee meeting of the CPN (UML), originally scheduled for August 29, has been postponed.

According to National News Agency Nepal, UML central publicity department chief Rajendra Gautam announced the adjournment of the meeting, which was to take place at the central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur. The postponement was attributed to inadequate preparation for the event. The meeting was intended to focus on gearing up for the party’s second statutory convention.

The agenda for the meeting included presenting a report with recommendations on the party statute amendment. However, as the report is still in progress, the meeting could not proceed as planned. Gautam assured that a new date for the meeting would be determined soon. The party has set a deadline of August 27 for its subordinate committees to submit their recommendations on the statute amendment.
