KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology announced that the weather is predicted to remain mainly fair across the country today. However, there is a partial influence of the westerly wind and local wind in the hilly regions, leading to generally cloudy conditions in these areas.
According to National News Agency RSS, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country is expected to experience fair weather. There is a likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few locations within the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, snowfall is anticipated in the mountainous and high-hilly regions of these provinces.
The forecast further indicates that tonight, the weather will continue to be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region, with some areas within the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces potentially experiencing light rain.
