Lumbini: Lumbini Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar has summoned the winter session of the Lumbini Province Assembly for November 24. Province Chief Gharti has scheduled the meeting to be held at 1:00 pm, in accordance with Article 183 (1) and Article 166 (2) of the Constitution.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the agenda for this session includes the Bill to amend the District Assembly and District Coordination Committee Operation Act, 2075, as well as the Bill to amend the Act related to Facilities of Local Level Office-bearers and Members, 2076. These bills have already been registered at the Province Assembly Secretariat, indicating a focus on legislative changes at the local governance level during this session.
