A youth was killed and three others were injured in a road accident at Parkola Bazar on the Bogura-Nagarbari highway in Shahjadpur of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Meraj Mandal, 18.
Police said the accident occurred as a truck had a head-on collision with an auto-rickshaw at Parkola Bazar this morning, leaving Meraj dead on the spot and three others injured.
The injured people are undergoing treatment at a local hospital
