Dhaka: Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has emphasized the importance of young people leading through their merit, thinking, and creativity to help build a new Bangladesh. He expressed these views during a discussion organized to celebrate the Tarunyer Utshab-2025 at Dhaka Residential Model School and College today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Asif Mahmud highlighted that over 14,000 events have been organized in schools and colleges across every district and upazila in the country as part of the Tarunyer Utshab celebrations. He noted that the youth society has been revitalized through sports, cultural, and creative activities nationwide.
He further remarked that the July Uprising has placed a significant responsibility on the youth. The new challenge, he said, is to rebuild the country, and to achieve this, everyone must prepare and work diligently from their respective positions.
Asif Mahmud, who also serves as an adviser to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Develop
ment and Co-operatives, urged the youth to draw inspiration from the sacrifice of Residential College student and martyr Farhan Fayaz, and to commit themselves to the task of nation-building.
