23-Member Squad Announced for FIFA Women’s International Friendly Match


Dhaka: The Bangladesh Football Federation today announced a 23-member Bangladesh national women’s football team squad for the upcoming FIFA women’s international friendly football match and a friendly match against host United Arab Emirates (UAE) women’s football team. The women’s football team is scheduled to play the first FIFA international friendly match against the UAE on February 26 during the FIFA window, while the second friendly match will be held on March 2 in the UAE.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the 23-member Bangladesh women’s squad includes Mst Yearzan Begum, Mile Akter, and Meghla Rani Roy as goalkeepers. The defenders in the squad are Kohati Kisku, Mst Joynob Bibi Rita, Afeida Khandakar, Mst Surma Jannat, Most Sultana, Arpita Biswas Arpita, Mariam Binta Hanna, and Kanom Akter. The midfield will be composed of Mst Halima Akther, Sapna Rani, Most Munki Akter, and Mst Bonna Khatun. The forwards selected are Airin Khatun, Mst Aklima Khatun, Shaheda Akter Ripa, Ayonto Bala Mahanto, Mst Oeyshi Khatun, Tonima Biswash, Sauravi Akanda Prity, and Nabiran Khatun.
