300 Plus Public Vehicles Depart Kathmandu Valley After Five-Day Halt

Kathmandu: More than 300 public vehicles have left the Kathmandu Valley from the New Bus Park on Saturday. The vehicles were dispatched to various destinations across the country after a five-day suspension due to the Gen-Z Revolt.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the General Manager of Lhotse Multipurpose Pvt Ltd, Sunil Kunwar, confirmed that over 300 public vehicles departed the valley with passengers on board. Kunwar noted that the resumption of vehicle movement coincides with the lifting of the curfew, signaling a return to normalcy in Kathmandu.

Kunwar attributed the surge in passenger numbers at the bus park to the onset of the festive season. Despite the resumption of services, he mentioned that pre-ticket booking for the upcoming Dashain festival remains unavailable due to ongoing concerns related to the Gen-Z Revolt.
