A mobile court of the Chattogram district administration today fined six commercial establishments, including four medicine shops, Tk 120,000 for selling unauthorized, date-expired food and medicine.
A team led by executive magistrate Protik Dutt conducted an anti-adulteration drive at the eastern gate of Chattogram Medical College Hospital and realized Tk 80,000 as fine from the owner of four pharmacies.
The same mobile court also fined Tk 40,000 to two restaurants for various irregularities.
