Jamalpur: A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Bakshiganj Upazila of the district this morning. The deceased was Abu Bakar, 2, son of Hafizur Rahman of Charkauria Daripara of the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj Police Station Khandakar Shaker Ahmed stated that the accident occurred when a truck hit the boy in front of his home, leaving him injured.
Subsequently, he was taken to the upazila health complex where the attending doctor declared him dead.
