Surkhet: General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party, Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav), has emphasized the importance of linking political strategies with an economic revolution to drive the nation towards prosperity. Chand articulated his vision during a press conference organized by the party in Surkhet, Birendranagar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chand highlighted the necessity of focusing on agricultural and economic advancements as pivotal political agendas. He criticized leaders who are all talk with no action, asserting that genuine national transformation requires commitment to tangible production efforts.
Chand argued that reliance on foreign aid or loans will not lead to prosperity, advocating for self-sufficiency through domestic production. He underscored the importance of engaging in productive activities, stating that material comfort without production equates to corruption or exploitation.
He specifically called for the promotion of apple farming and other agricultural ventures in the Karnali region. Chand noted that public sentiment favors the unification of Maoists, suggesting it as a path forward for collective progress.
