Kathmandu: Poet and lyricist Dinesh Adhikari’s latest collection of poems, ‘Paaniko Parade’, was unveiled during a program held in the city today. The anthology, rich with 77 poems crafted by Adhikari over the years 2064 BS to 2080 BS, includes both previously published and new works. This marks Adhikari’s 17th contribution to literature.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the event saw Adhikari presenting his poetic anthology to notable literary figures, Dr. Navaraj Lamsal and Momila. Dr. Lamsal, a Madan award laureate, remarked on Adhikari’s established reputation as a poet with the ability to blend subjective intuition with objective consciousness. Meanwhile, poet and essayist Momila praised Adhikari’s skillful artistic composition of words in his works.
The release of ‘Paaniko Parade’ coincided with the celebration of International Women’s Day, adding a layer of significance to the occasion. During the event, Adhikari shared his joy in reaching the 50-year milestone of his poetry journey. He also recited several of his poems, including ‘Ama’, ‘Antim Tayari’, ‘Bihe’, and ‘Achanak Ek Din’.
