Government Directed to Address Parliamentary Concerns Promptly


Kathmandu: National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal has instructed the government to provide timely responses to issues raised by lawmakers in parliament. During a session of the National Assembly, Chair Dahal urged the relevant ministers to address queries posed by lawmakers during the zero and special hour discussions.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Chairman Dahal emphasized the necessity for government ministers to address topics concerning women and children, violence, rape, murder, the teachers’ movement, and the challenges faced by the Swargadwari Guthi. Additionally, he highlighted the problems faced by Dalits, indigenous nationalities, and farmers, as well as issues related to good governance and service delivery.



Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, representing the Prime Minister, submitted the annual report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS. The session concluded with the announcement that the National Assembly will reconvene at 1.15 pm on March 17.
