Jumla: Two distant wards of Tatopani rural municipality in the district have been connected to the road network. The road reached ward no 7 and 8 of the rural municipality, connecting the district headquarters, according to chair of the rural municipality, Nanda Prasad Chaulagain.
According to National News Agency Nepal, with the access to the road network, the people from the respective wards have been relieved of the hassles of a long walk to the district headquarters or travel from other local levels. They were previously forced to visit the district service centers via Tila rural municipality.
“We’ve given a top priority to road construction. The plan to connect remote locals to district headquarters has been successful,” said Chaulagain. However, he also shared the challenge of a budget shortage to blacktop the road.
