Bangkok: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Harini Amarasuriya held a meeting today in Bangkok. PM Oli is currently in Thailand to participate in the Sixth Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
According to National News Agency Nepal, the two Prime Ministers discussed matters of bilateral and mutual interests during their meeting. Present at the meeting were several officials, including Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, the Prime Minister’s Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
After concluding his scheduled programs in Thailand, PM Oli is engaged in sideline meetings and discussions with other Heads of State and Heads of Governments from the BIMSTEC member nations attending the Summit.
