Bangkok: Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for the Asia-Pacific (ESCAP) Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli here today. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 6th Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
According to National News Agency Nepal, Executive Secretary Salsiah and Prime Minister Oli discussed cooperation strategies aimed at facilitating Nepal’s graduation to a middle-income country. The discussions also covered other related issues pertinent to Nepal’s economic development.
