Malarani: Two people have died and two others were injured in a road accident that took place in Malarani, Arghakhanchi. The accident occurred early this morning when a jeep (Lu. 2 Cha. 2990) traveling from Lutipokhari to Khandaha lost control and fell approximately 200 meters below the road in Malarani Rural Municipality-3.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the deceased have been identified as the driver of the jeep, Dilip Khanal, 22, and Balkrishna Rijal, 21, both from Malarani-4. The injured are 17-year-old Bhuwan Pokharel and Basanta Pokharel, also 17, from Malarani-4. They are currently receiving treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal.
An investigation into the incident is underway, as stated by Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Malla, the Chief of the District Police Office.
