Price of Gold Sees Significant Drop of Rs 1,700 Per Tola

Kathmandu: The price of gold, which had reached an all-time high on Sunday, has seen a decline today. The yellow metal, previously priced at Rs 186,000 per tola (11.66 grammes), has decreased by Rs 1,700, bringing the new price to Rs 184,300 per tola.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported this reduction in gold prices. The drop in domestic rates comes as gold is currently being traded at 3,335 US dollars per ounce in the international market.

In addition to gold, the price of silver has also fallen. The cost per tola of silver has decreased by Rs 15, resulting in a trading price of Rs 1,945. The changes in the precious metals market reflect the fluctuations in global trading prices and local market conditions.
