Kathmandu: The price of gold has increased in the domestic market today, with the rate rising by Rs 1,700 per tola (11.66 grams) to reach Rs 191,500.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the gold was previously traded at Rs 189,800 per tola on Wednesday. This significant rise has been noted by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, which plays a crucial role in setting the prices domestically.
In addition to gold, the Federation has also set the price of silver at Rs 2,025 per tola today. The international market has seen gold priced at 3,355 US dollars per ounce, indicating a global trend impacting local pricing.
