Kathmandu: The government has projected an economic growth rate of 6 percent in the Fiscal Year 2082/83 BS. Unveiling the annual budget at the joint session of the Federal Parliament today, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that the government’s annual policy and programmes, along with the budget’s programmes announced for the upcoming fiscal year, would contribute to achieving the target of a 6 percent economic growth rate.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Finance Minister also announced plans to maintain inflation at 5.5 percent in the upcoming fiscal year.
