Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) has announced its 10th central committee meeting, set to take place at its central office in Chysal on August 29. This meeting is a precursor to the party’s second statute convention.
According to National News Agency Nepal, CPN (UML) Central Office Secretary Dr. Bhisma Adhikari stated that the meeting’s agenda will focus on preparations for the upcoming convention. A key topic will be the discussion of the statute amendment proposal report, which Vice-Chairperson Bishnu Prasad Paudel is expected to present.
The party has also urged its subordinate committees to submit their feedback on the statute amendment proposal report by August 26. The second statute convention is scheduled to occur in Godavari, Lalitpur, from September 5 to 7.
