Kathmandu: With the low pressure belt of the monsoon shifting south of its average range, the monsoon’s impact is gradually decreasing across the country. The Weather Forecasting Division, however, has indicated that winds carrying water vapor are entering Nepal from the Bay of Bengal.
According to National News Agency Nepal, some hilly regions in the Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to experience generally cloudy weather, with other areas being partly cloudy today. These regions are also likely to witness moderate rainfall.
Furthermore, the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will generally see cloudy skies, with moderate rainfall expected in Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces by tonight. Heavy rainfall is predicted in a few places within the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
