Kathmandu: The government of Madhes Province has announced a public holiday for Friday. A notice released by Bimal Prasad Baral, the Secretary of the Ministry of Home, Communications and Law of the provincial government, stated that the holiday is being observed across the province to commemorate Mohammad Jayanti.
According to National News Agency Nepal, additional details about the holiday were published in the official gazette of Madhes Province. The notice from the ministry confirmed the holiday’s significance in honor of Mohammad Jayanti.
