Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has suspended the hearing of cases until further notice.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a notice issued by Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Bimal Poudel, stated that all cases currently in the process of being heard have been postponed. The disruption comes after demonstrators set fire to the Supreme Court on September 9, resulting in damage to case files and the server.
The notice clarified that hearings scheduled for today have been canceled, and those planned for the coming days have been adjourned until further notice. The Supreme Court expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the public due to this unforeseen incident.
