Five Nepali Scientists Honored in Prestigious Asian Scientists List


Kathmandu: Five Nepali scientists have been recognized in the list of 100 Asian scientists, as recently published by ‘Asian Scientist Magazine’. The distinguished individuals selected for this honor include Frenshon Pradhan from Kathmandu University, Raju Acharya from Friends of Nature, Rinjin Phunjok Lama from Independent Conservation Biologists, Dr. Shailendra Giri from Rapti Engineering College, and Tista Prasai Joshi from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology.



According to National News Agency Nepal, after being named among these eminent scientists, Dr. Giri expressed his motivation to further contribute to the nation. He is actively engaged in the field of information technology and has previously served as the executive director of the Local Development Training Institute and the Nepal Administrative Staff College.



Dr. Giri has committed to promoting intellectual and practical progress by working in collaboration with both private and government sectors in the realm of information technology.
