Biratnagar: Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar, Morang, has launched a Gen-Z Clinic to provide prompt medical care to individuals injured during the Gen-Z demonstrations held on September 8-9. The clinic was established under the initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs and in accordance with directives from the Ministry of Health and Population at the federal level.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the hospital’s Medical Superintendent, Dr. Runa Jha, stated that individuals holding identity cards and injured in the demonstrations will receive immediate treatment at the facility. The hospital has formed a five-member committee to ensure the effective operation of the clinic.
The committee is coordinated by Dr. Mahendra Prasad Mahato, Chief of the Orthopedic Department. Other members include Dr. Sunil Babu Khanal, Chief of the Medicine Department, Dr. Kshitiz Giri, Medical Officer of the Surgical Department, Nabita Sharma, OPD In-Charge, and Kameshwor Parihasta, Hospital Focal Person (Member Secretary).
