Speaker Ghimire Engages in Consultations with Political Party Representatives

Kathmandu: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has initiated consultations with representatives of various political parties to discuss the current political situation. The discussions are taking place at the Speaker’s office in Singhadurbar and include the participation of chief whips and whips from the political parties that were part of the recently dissolved House of Representatives.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the representatives of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) did not attend the discussions. This development is occurring at a time when major political parties like the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) are engaged in their office-bearers’ and central committee meetings.

The consultations led by Speaker Ghimire are being regarded as significant in the context of the political landscape, as parties deliberate on their strategies and future direction amidst the evolving political scenario.
