147 Central Members Furnish Suggestions to UML Leadership

Lalitpur: A total of 147 central members have put forth their views in the ongoing 10th central committee meeting of the CPN UML. On the second day of the meeting on Thursday, 147 central members expressed their views on the political report presented by party Chairman KP Sharma Oli. The meeting is being held in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur after the Chyasal-based central office turned into a wreckage owing to arson and vandalism during a Gen-Z protest on September 9.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Publicity Department Chief of the party, Rajendra Gautam, informed that each central member was allocated three minutes to respond to the report. On the first day on Wednesday, 50 central members had put forth their views.

Following the central members’ presentations, the office bearers will have the opportunity to speak on current politics and Chairman Oli’s report. Chairman Oli will then provide responses to the suggestions and conclude the meeting.

The central members’ discussions focused on current politics, the future course of the party, and the protection of democracy. The meeting is scheduled to resume at 8:00 am on Friday.
