Kathmandu: Nepal entered the semifinals of the 1st Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind by defeating the United States in a match played in India on Sunday. Nepal won the match against the US by 10 wickets, gathering six points from four matches.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Nepal’s victory came after successfully meeting the target of 18 runs set by the US without losing a single wicket. The US team, batting first, managed to score 17 runs, losing all wickets in 9.4 overs. Prior to this, Nepal had defeated Sri Lanka and Australia, with their only loss against India in the ongoing tournament.
