Kathmandu: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has directed his subordinates to perform their duties in a manner that ensures a sense of change and justice for Generation Z. He emphasized that the government’s performance should reflect the aspirations of Gen Z.
According to National News Agency Nepal, during a meeting at the Home Ministry on Sunday, Minister Aryal highlighted the importance of concentrating efforts on successfully conducting the upcoming election. He stressed the necessity of active employee engagement to achieve this goal. The minister noted that the election is a major mandate of the government and that the optimal use of technology could make the electoral process more inclusive, thereby safeguarding citizens’ rights.
Minister Aryal also urged the prompt and smooth handling of complaints received by the Gen Z coordination committee at the Home Ministry. He advocated for intensifying efforts to deliver relief cards to those injured in the September protest by reaching out to them directly.
On this occasion, Secretary Rameshwor Dangal expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Ministry and its subordinate offices. Dangal noted a radical change in performance styles following the Gen Z movement and instructed officials to prioritize their duties accordingly.
